Solitaire Bracelets for Women

A solitaire bracelet is a single diamond on a fine chain, and building one comes down to three decisions: the shape of the stone, the way it's held, and its color. Our collection covers every combination of five shapes, two settings and six diamond options, from natural white to lab-grown pink, so you can start with whichever choice matters most to you.

One Stone Riding on a Fine Chain

On a necklace, a single diamond hangs and stays mostly still. On a wrist it travels. It rests on the back of the hand while you type, catches light as you reach for a cup, and slides a little with every gesture. That movement is why a solitaire bracelet sparkles more often than its size would suggest, and why a modest stone is enough.

The chain matters as much as the diamond. A fine chain lets the stone sit almost on the skin, so the bracelet reads as a point of light rather than as a piece of hardware. It also means the solitaire stacks easily, slips under a cuff, and doesn't fight with a watch.

Five Outlines for the Wrist

Shape is usually the first decision, because it sets the mood of the whole bracelet.

A round brilliant is the classic sparkle: compact, bright from every angle, and easy to wear with anything. It's the shape most people picture when they think of a diamond bracelet, and our round diamond bracelets gather it with other styles.

An oval stretches that sparkle along the line of the chain. Set lengthwise, it makes a slim wrist look longer, and it shows a little more surface than a round of the same weight. More designs in this shape sit in our oval diamond bracelets.

A marquise is the most dramatic outline: a long boat shape with two points. On a bracelet it looks like a tiny streak of light across the wrist, and it reads larger than its weight. You'll find it alongside other designs in our marquise bracelets.

A pear has one rounded end and one point, which gives it direction. Worn with the point toward the hand, it echoes the line of the fingers. Our pear diamond bracelets collect it in more settings.

An emerald cut is the quiet one: a step-cut rectangle with long flat facets that flash rather than sparkle. It looks crisp and a little architectural, and it pairs well with a squared watch face. The shape continues in our emerald cut bracelets.

How the Stone Is Held

Every shape in the collection comes two ways, and the choice depends on how hard your wrists work.

A prong setting holds the diamond in small metal claws. It lets in the most light from the sides, sits a touch higher and shows the full outline of the stone. It suits anyone who wants maximum sparkle and wears the bracelet mainly for evenings, weekends or the office.

A bezel setting wraps the stone in a thin, smooth rim of metal. The edges and points are covered, the bracelet lies lower on the wrist, and there's nothing to catch on a sweater cuff, a laptop edge or a tote strap. For a bracelet you plan to leave on every day, or for the pointed shapes like marquise and pear, the bezel is the practical choice. The rim also frames the stone in a fine line of metal, which makes a small diamond look a little more defined.

White Diamond or a Color

The third decision is what the stone looks like inside.

Our white solitaires come in two types. Natural diamonds are offered up to 1 carat, with larger natural stones available on request. Lab-grown diamonds go up to 3 carats, and bigger stones can be made to order. All our lab-grown diamonds are grown by the CVD method and are physically and chemically diamond; every listing names which type you're getting. Natural stones of half a carat and above come with an IGI or GIA report, lab-grown stones from 1 carat come with an IGI report, and any piece over $800 also carries a GSI jewelry certificate. Our natural diamond solitaire bracelets and lab-grown solitaire bracelets split the white stones by type.

Then there are the four fancy colors: pink, yellow, blue and green. Each is offered in all five shapes and both settings, which is where most of the collection's variety comes from. Every colored stone is a lab-grown diamond that gets its color from treatment after growth, including a handful of older listings whose names don't yet say "lab". A small colored diamond is easier to wear than you might expect: pink softens a neutral outfit, yellow warms up denim, blue reads almost like a sapphire from across the room, and green is the one people ask about. Each color has its own page, starting with pink diamond bracelets, and all four sit together in our colored diamond bracelets.

Next to a Watch, a Tennis Line or a Bolo

A solitaire is the easiest bracelet to stack, because a single stone never competes with what's beside it. Worn next to a watch, it adds one spark without crowding the dial. Beside a diamond tennis bracelet, it breaks up the continuous line with a single focal point. With a bolo bracelet, you get a pair of chains with two very different ideas of sparkle.

A useful rule is to repeat one element and change another. Keep the same shape and switch the color, or keep the color and switch the shape. Two solitaires in different shapes, one white and one pink, look intentional rather than accidental.

A Single Stone on the Wedding Day

Brides often want a bracelet that adds light without stealing attention from the ring, and a solitaire does exactly that. A white round or oval in a bezel sits flat under a lace sleeve and won't snag fabric. A pear or marquise can echo the shape of the engagement ring, and a small colored stone can serve as "something blue". Bridesmaids are another good fit: the same bracelet in a different color for each person ties the group together. Our guide on how to pick a bridal bracelet goes through what to consider for the wedding itself.

A Solitaire Bracelet Built to Your Idea

The collection covers a lot of combinations, but not every one. We can make a solitaire bracelet in a shape outside the five, such as a heart, princess or radiant, or set a natural diamond above 1 carat or a lab-grown one above 3. We can also build a matching single-stone pendant so the bracelet and necklace form a pair; our solitaire necklaces show what that might look like. Send your idea to our custom design team for a quote. Shipping is free across the US, with international delivery available.

FAQs

Most people wear it on the wrist without a watch, usually the dominant one, so the stone gets more movement and more light. If you prefer it beside your watch, put the bracelet on the hand side of the watch so the two don't knock together. A lighter, flatter design from our lab-grown diamond bracelets layers more comfortably next to a watch.

A single stone is the heaviest point on a light chain, so gravity pulls it downward, especially on a loose fit. A closer fit and a flatter bezel setting both help it stay on top. For a design that can't rotate at all, a rigid style from our bangle bracelets is the alternative.

No. A solitaire bracelet has one diamond, while a station bracelet spaces several diamonds evenly along the chain. A station style gives sparkle all the way around the wrist; a solitaire gives a single point of focus. Our natural diamond bracelets include both approaches.

It doesn't have to. Matching the shape creates a clear link between the two hands, while a contrasting shape looks more relaxed and collected over time. Many people match the color of the metal instead and choose whichever shape appeals most. Our solitaire engagement rings come in the same five shapes, which makes pairing easy.

Yes, slightly. Daylight brings out the clearest version of the color, while warm indoor lighting can make pink and yellow look richer and blue and green look a shade deeper. The stone itself doesn't change; only the light does. Keeping the stone clean, as our care guide explains, keeps the color bright.
