Heart Shape Diamond Wedding Bands for Women
Most wedding bands say "love" through tradition. A heart band says it in the stones themselves. Each heart is a small symbol, and set in color, it carries a second meaning: a birth month, a milestone anniversary or a favorite shade. Our heart wedding bands come in white lab-grown diamonds, natural black diamonds and lab-created rubies, sapphires and emeralds, in half and full eternity designs.
A Row of Hearts Reads as a Message
A single heart on a ring is a gesture. A row of them becomes a message, repeated all the way around the finger. Even from a distance, the outline is unmistakable: two rounded lobes, a soft cleft and a tapered point. No engraving or explanation is needed, because everyone already knows what the shape means.
That makes a heart band unusually personal for a piece of jewelry worn every day. It can mark a wedding, but it can just as easily celebrate an anniversary, a vow renewal or a new baby, and its meaning stays clear whichever finger it's worn on.
White Hearts
Our white heart bands use lab-grown diamonds grown by the CVD method, in a half eternity design with hearts across the top and a full eternity design that circles the finger. Heart diamonds are faceted like a brilliant, so white hearts sparkle brightly while keeping their shape clear. Depending on the design, the hearts may stand upright or turn along the band. Natural white diamond heart bands can be made on request.
Red, Blue and Green Hearts
Color gives each heart a second layer of meaning. Every colored gemstone in these bands is lab-created and disclosed as such on its listing.
Ruby is the birthstone for July and the traditional gift for a 40th anniversary. A ruby heart band is about as direct a symbol of love as jewelry can offer, red stones in the shape of a heart.
Sapphire is September's birthstone and the stone for a 45th anniversary. Long associated with faithfulness, blue sapphire hearts suit anyone who wants a quieter, cooler shade, or the "something blue" on the wedding day.
Emerald is the birthstone for May and the gift for a 55th anniversary. Its green is linked to renewal and growth, a fitting choice for a vow renewal or a spring wedding.
Each color comes in solid rows and in designs that alternate gemstone hearts with white lab-grown diamond hearts, in half and full eternity. Shop the colors in our lab-grown ruby wedding bands, lab-grown blue sapphire wedding rings and emerald wedding bands.
Black Hearts
Our black heart bands use natural black diamonds, either in a full row of dark hearts or alternating with white diamonds. Black gives the romantic shape a bolder, more modern edge, and its glossy surface shows the heart outline crisply. A black and white heart band reads like a pattern of light and shadow, an unexpected take on the most familiar symbol. More dark pieces are in our black diamond rings.
Two Meanings in One Band
Alternating bands give you room to combine stories. A row that alternates ruby and white diamond hearts can stand for a July birthday and a wedding; a sapphire and diamond band can mark a September anniversary. If you'd like two birthstones in one band, for two partners or two children, we can make it to order.
Gifts Beyond the Wedding
Because the symbol is so clear, a heart band works as a gift at any stage of a relationship. Many couples choose one for a first anniversary or a milestone year matching the gemstone. Others mark a birth with a heart band in the baby's birthstone, a lasting alternative to the classic push present described in our heart necklace push present guide. Our anniversary rings include more ideas, and our guide on when to add an eternity band covers timing.
Pairing With a Heart Engagement Ring
This collection also includes heart engagement rings, so the band and the center stone can share the same shape. Because a heart's point extends beneath the center stone, a straight band may sit slightly apart from it. A chevron or V-shaped band that dips under the point can be made to order to close that gap. Our chevron and V-shaped bands guide shows how the shape works.
Matching the Hearts
A heart has a clear top and bottom, so in a band every stone needs to face the same way and share similar proportions. Our heart bands are set so that the lobes, clefts and points line up evenly from stone to stone, and the pattern stays consistent as the band turns.
Settings and Sizing
Depending on the design, the hearts are held in prongs, which show more of each stone, or in bezels, which wrap the point in gold for extra protection. Full eternity heart bands can't be resized once made, so each one is crafted to your measured size.
Metals and Certificates
Heart bands come in 10K, 14K or 18K yellow, white or rose gold, and many designs are also offered in 925 sterling silver. Any heart band priced above $800 includes a GSI jewelry certificate. Delivery is free across the US, and we ship heart bands to customers abroad as well.
Your Own Heart Band
We can combine two birthstones, switch to natural white diamonds, change the width or design a chevron band for a heart engagement ring. Share your idea with our custom design team.
